WeGotTickets Partners with Nordoff Robbins for Christmas Appeal
After 5 successful years supporting Oxjam, WeGotTickets is turning its attention to another really great musical cause – music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.Nordoff Robbins is the UK's leading provider of music therapy services, delivering over 50,000 music therapy sessions every year to some of the UK’s most vulnerable and isolated children and adults. This Christmas, WeGotTickets’ Christmas appeal is raising money for Nordoff Robbins in two ways; through a donation box when purchasing tickets on the WeGotTickets site throughout December or by buying tickets on Christmas Day, during which 100% of all booking fees will go to the Christmas appeal. Customers can also choose to Gift Aid their donation, maximising their gift by enabling tax-efficient giving. This festive project follows WeGotTicket’s successful 2011 Christmas Appeal, where £3,473was raised for Action Aid’s Kenyan radio project Muziq Speak.WeGotTickets is no stranger to raising funds for good causes. For the last 5 years, WeGotTickets has been working with Oxjam, where £6,200 was raised from a mixture of booking fees (50% of WeGotTickets’ booking fees for all Oxjam events) and customer donations. Thanks to the generosity of this year’s Oxjam patrons, customer donations rose to £3,700 compared to £3,556 in 2011. These donations were received on top of the ticket price, which could be given on all Oxjam events, as well as any event on sale in October. This broke WeGotTickets’ record for the largest amount of customer donations given to any charity project.ENDSAbout WeGotTicketsWeGotTickets is the UK’s leading paperless ticketing agency.
