Adam Webb joins Name PR as senior account director

Adam Webb has been appointed senior account director by Name PR – the specialist music and marketing communications agency.In his new role, Webb will help manage press and communications for a number of Name’s existing clients - including Merlin, Cooking Vinyl, Essential Music & Marketing and MusicTank - as well as working with founder, Sam Shemtob, to develop and expand the agency’s business.Prior to the move, Webb was Press & Communications Executive at the UK music industry’s umbrella body UK Music - a position that saw him voted Communications Person Of The Year at the 2011 Record Of The Day Awards.Before that, he was a freelance journalist covering music and technology for the likes of The Guardian, Music Week and Music Ally, as well as developing TV formats and penning a well-received biography of the Beach Boys’ Dennis Wilson.
