- Founder members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue to record as UB40- New album due Q3 2014 from Norwegian duo Röyksopp- CV Australia signs Calling All Cars and Kate Miller-Heidke 30th January 2014, London:- Cooking Vinyl has started 2014 with a spring in its step, having signed a clutch of international artists including Röyksopp and the newly re-formed UB40 fronted by Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue. Additionally, CV Australia has signed Calling All Cars and Kate Miller-Heidke.
UB40’s founders and frontmen Ali Campbell, Astro and keyboardist Mickey Virtue have signed a two album worldwide record services deal with Cooking Vinyl. It was recently announced that the trio will record and perform as UB40, and are currently in the studio recording fresh material for a new album due in Q4 2014. Responsible for selling over 70 million records, UB40’s initial line-up lasted for 30 years until the 2008 departure of Campbell and Virtue, with Astro leaving what remained of the band in November 2013.Made up of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, electronic music duo Röyksopp have topped the charts in several countries over the course of their 16-year career, including notching up four consecutive #1 albums in their native Norway. th March, and has been mixed by Grammy Award winning producer

Standing In The Ocean both entered high rotation on Australia's major youth radio network Triple J, and the band has supported AC/DC, Queens Of The Stone Age and Foo Fighters on recent Australian tours.Also joining CV Australia's roster is Kate Miller-Heidke, who has signed a worldwide ex. US services deal. Following the big label successes of her previous three records, Miller-Heidke has gone independent with her fourth album
O Vertigo! after seven years with Sony. The album, to be released on March 14
th, is funded entirely by her fans via Pledge Music in a record-breaking three days. It features guest vocalists including folk sensation Passenger, Australian hip-hop artist Drapht; and Megan Washington. The first single
