Rizzle Kicks to ‘do the hump’ at the University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball!

The 2014 University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball is set to be a night to remember on Friday 16th May, with spellbinding UK hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks headlining the event spanning across two venues.The first part of the Ball will be held within the grounds of the prestigious Hatfield House, taking over the Stable yard complex with a circus style ‘big top’ tent on the cricket pitch in front of the main house. Part two will be held at The Forum, where revellers can dance the night (or morning) away until 5am!The ball will feature a plethora of music including dynamic covers band The SuperUnknown who will bring their energetic live show to Hatfield House to get the crowd going and the aforementioned Rizzle Kicks, whose massive UK hits ‘Down with the Trumpets’ and ‘Mama Do the Hump’ will be huge crowd pleasers.  DJs from the UKs biggest club night Propaganda will also be on hand, as well as Radio 1 DJ Ally McCrae spinning tunes at Hatfield House until 1.30am.For a more chilled out time at the first part of the ball, the ‘Coffee House Sessions’ will be hosting an acoustic stage headlined by Josh Kumra who featured on Wretch 32’s UK Number One smash ‘Don’t Go’, with singer/songwriter types Stephanie Fraser, Ellie Rose and Johnny Lucas all performing as well.The Forum’s 2,000 capacity auditorium and 300 capacity ‘Attic’ room will both be pumping until the early hours for the second part of the ball. KISS FM DJs Rickie and Melvin will be dropping all manner of hits, the ‘people’s producer’ Duke Dumont will unleash tracks like his Number One hit ‘Need U (100%)’ and Club MTV’s R3WIRE & VARSKI will round everything off in the auditorium, while DJ Jade Avia will be taking hold of the Attic until late.Add to this a bundle of other attractions including dodgems, fairground stalls, a photo booth and more, The 2014 University of Hertfordshire Summer Ball will be the most prestigious event in the history of the University.
