25 January 2016, London:- Digital music distribution and services company FUGA have hired René Andreasi-Bassi as Head of Digital Marketing & Promotions and Michael Cassidy as Head of Operations in preparation for future expansion.A specialist in brand positioning and content promotion across digital platforms, Andreasi-Bassi will lead the FUGA Digital Marketing & Promotions team, tasked with supporting FUGA’s aggregation clients’ retail marketing efforts and broadening relationships with DSPs. He will also oversee plans to grow FUGA’s international marketing capabilities.Andreasi-Bassi has over a decade of experience in promotions and creative marketing having spent time at Discovery Networks, where he built the award-winning creative team from the ground up, as well as NBCUniversal and Liberty Global. More recently, he has worked on marketing campaigns for the likes of The Walt Disney Company, as owner of Dutch creative agency Promoloog. He will report to Christiaan Kröner, FUGA’s Director of Aggregation and Services.Cassidy meanwhile, joins from Liberty Global where he was Software Development Manager. He will be a lynchpin of the operations team, overseeing the ongoing operational advancement of FUGA’s platform and client support services. A track record in development, including management roles at eBay and QBE Europe, and founding music start-up I Think Music, give him a deep understanding of tech and the types of operational challenges FUGA will continue to face as its platform evolves.
