Legendary film director David Lynch has created his first original electronic single with “Good Day Today,” backed with a narcotic blues track "I Know." Both tracks, along with remixes by the top names in electronic music and special packaging, will have their official release on January 31 (Sunday Best Recordings). After a worldwide call for applications from the best and brightest of the film world David Lynch selected two videos that will become the official videos for each track. With a stamp that is undoubtedly Lynch, these songs feature the legend himself on vocals and on production duties. Among the electronic notables reworking David’s tracks are innovators Underworld, Simon Ratcliffe from Basement Jaxx (with Ratcliffe hedz in dark mix), DJ legend Sasha, dubstep trailblazer Skream, Berlin artist Boys Noize, the sublime Coldplay producer Jon Hopkins, blogger favorite Diskjokke and Sunday Best’s own label head Rob da Bank and artist danlesac. The packaging will also feature artwork created by Vaughan Oliver, the esteemed graphic designer behind timeless album covers by Pixies, The Breeders and Cocteau Twins.
