Name PR wins The Forum’s Hert

-         London agency to represent top flight venue The Forum HertfordshireThe UK’s leading music business agency Name PR is expanding its consumer portfolio as it takes on PR duties for state-of-the-art venue The Forum Hertfordshire.The venue, which opened its doors in 2009 as a 2000 capacity space for the general public, has already played host to a string of A-list artists including Florence and the Machine, will.i.am, Ed Sheeran, Blondie, Professor Green, and Chase and Status.  It boasts cutting edge lighting and audio systems alongside multiple bars, three entertainment spaces, a café and a restaurant.The PR account, which was won following a three agency competitive pitch, is Name PR’s largest consumer client to date.  The brief encompasses consumer and trade PR as well social media strategy and will be managed by live trade and consumer press specialist Hugo Mintz and Name Founder Sam Shemtob, with Tom Quillfeldt providing social media counsel.This latest addition to Name’s consumer PR portfolio comes hot on the heels of the agency’s recent festival PR work for 2012 festivals Nozstock: The Hidden Valley and Redfest.  This in turn builds on campaigns for artists including Stevie Wonder, David Lynch and Marilyn Manson; club nights for Soundcrash and Corsica Studios as well as festivals Outlook and Soundwave.The agency is also active in the live trade sector, with clients including WeGotTickets, Association of Independent Festivals, and Deaf and disabled access charity Attitude is Everything.Said Rebecca Hobbs, Director of Marketing, The Forum HertfordshireWith the larger acts coming in thick and fast now seemed like a great time to boost our PR effort.
